Oval frame restored in beech wood
White Alba is a reflection of another era, rescued from oblivion and brought back to life with respect, patience, and skill. This original piece from the 1920s, likely a product of the early industrial age, was recovered from a dumpster, broken and forgotten, like so many things with history that no one stops to look at or care for anymore.
Today, restored by hand and finished in an aged white with a vintage effect, it suggests calm, luminosity, and a new timeless grace. The beechwood frame retains subtle traces of its age: scars that are not hidden, but rather speak volumes.
It is shipped with a digital print of a Renaissance portrait of a woman, and the previous, ultra-clear protective methacrylate.
- Original period piece, restored by hand
- Aged white finish with Damar varnish and Titanium Dioxide, vintage style
- Dimensions: 84 × 63 cm
White Alba is not just a frame: it's a second chance. The chance of an object with a history that still has much to say.
